Refund policy
1) Introduction
(i)
This Returns Policy applies to every person ('User'), including yourself, who accesses this website known as www.avintageleo.co.za (the 'Website') owned and operated by AVINTAGELEO (PTY) LTD ("AVINTAGELEO", "AVL", "We", "Us").
(ii)
We direct your attention to the Consumer Protection Act, Act 68 of 2008 for a full explanation of your rights as a User of this Website. Nothing in this Returns Policy is intended to limit your statutory rights in any way.
(iii)
This Returns Policy sets out how you can return any of our Products to AVINTAGELEO, whether because the Product was unwanted, damaged, defective, or incorrect, or because you are not satisfied with your order or because the delivery was unsolicited.
(iv)
It is important to read this Returns Policy together with our terms and conditions ("T's and C's"), which is incorporated herein by reference. Every definition in our T's and C's will have the same meaning in this Returns Policy.
2) Preparing A Product for Return
(i)
For AVINTAGELEO to process your return request as effectively as possible, you are responsible for the following:
a) pack the Product safely and securely in a return package for protection during collection, transit, and delivery;
b) check that the Product is in a clearly and distinctly marked return package with the relevant order reference number;
c) include every component sold with the Product in the return package;
d) designate an appropriate collection point and collection time; and -
e) make arrangements to hand over the return package timeously to the courier or collection driver at the designated collection point.
(ii)
Failure to co-operate with could delay the processing of your return request and might result in AVINTAGELEO being unable to verify a valid return and declining your return request altogether.
3) Initiating a Return Request
(i)
If you intend to return a Product to AVINTAGELEO, you may notify us of your intention to do so within 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date that you received delivery of the Product ("the 30 day cool-off period"). You may communicate your return request to us via any of the following contact details:

(ii)
For AVINTAGELEO to process your return request effectively, We ask that you please provide the following information to us:
a) the order reference number, which we will have provided to you when you initially made the order;
b) your full name;
c) a phone number;
d) an email address;
e) a physical address at which We may collect the return package ('the collection point');
f) your instructions as to whether you want to return the Product in exchange for another Product of the same price, or whether you want to return the Product in exchange for a refund; and
g) a bank account into which We should refund your payment (if you request a refund), including:
- the bank account name;
- the bank account number;
- the name of the bank at which the account is held;
- the branch name and/or code under which the account is held, if applicable.
(iii)
If you fail to provide AVINTAGELEO with the information requested above, this could delay our processing of your return request and might result in us being unable to verify a valid return and declining your return request altogether.
4) Collection and Processing
(i)
Once We have received notice of your return request, We will dispatch a courier as soon as possible to collect the return package from you at our own cost and free-of-charge to you.
(ii)
Once AVINTAGELEO have received your return package, We will attempt to notify you of this using either of the contact channels which you have provided to Us.
(iii)
Within 10 (ten) calendar days of receiving your return package, We will inspect the return Products and compare with your instructions and your order details in order to assess and verify your return request.
(iv)
We will inform you of the outcome of our assessment of your return request within of 10 (ten) calendar days of receiving your return package.
(v)
If We verify your return request to be valid and you have asked for a refund, We will refund you the purchase price of the Product you returned within 10 (ten) calendar days of receiving your return package or until such time that We can reasonably confirm your bank account details for paying the refund.
(vi)
If We verify your return request to be valid and you have asked exchange the Product with another of the same price, We will check our stock and inform you whether or not such an exchange is possible.
If an exchange is possible, We will confirm your exchange order with you within 10 (ten) calendar days of receiving your return package, and We will arrange for delivery as soon as reasonably practicable, at our own cost and free-of-charge to you.
If an exchange is impossible, We will inform you and refund you for the purchase price of the Product within 10 (ten) calendar days of receiving your return package or until such time that We can reasonably confirm your bank account details for paying the refund.
(vii)
If you request to return more than one Product at once, but We fail to collect one or more Product, We will inform you of this discrepancy and offer you the following options for how to further proceed with your return request:
a) You may, at your own cost, deliver some or all of the outstanding Products to AVINTAGELEO.
b) You may demand that We collect some or all of the outstanding Products from you at our own cost and free-of-charge to you within the 30 day cool-off period or within 10 (ten) calendar days after We received your return package - whichever the later. However, if you have not communicated your demand to us before the expiry of the 30 day cool-off period or within 10 (ten) calendar days of us receiving your return package - whichever the later - you will be liable and responsible for paying the costs out of your own pocket of returning the outstanding Products to us.
c) You may keep the remaining Products, and We will refund you only for the purchase price of the Products which were actually collected from you, or exchange them with another and deliver them to you at our own cost and free-of-charge, as the case may be, depending on your return request.
5) Changes to this Policy
(i)
This version of this Returns Policy overwrites any previous returns policy or like provisions on our Website.
(ii)
We may from time to time change, edit, amend, rectify, and/or overwrite this Returns Policy.
6) Applicability
(i)
The applicable version of the Returns Policy will be determined by the version of the Returns Policy which was posted on this webpage at the time of delivering the Product to you which is the subject of your return request.
